Carolyn Walther

Carolyn Walther is an appellate attorney with the New York State Office of Indigent Legal Services, based in the Western New York Support Center in Buffalo. She has prepared and argued appeals in the First, Second, and Fourth Departments of the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, as well as the New York Court of Appeals.

Carolyn graduated cum laude from NYU School of Law and from Binghamton University, where she obtained her B.A. After law school, Carolyn spent nearly 10 years as an attorney at the Center for Family Representation, where she represented parents in Family Court Article 10 and related matters in New York and Queens Counties. Following that, Carolyn was an appellate attorney at the New York City Law Department and then the Monroe County Conflict Defender’s Office in Rochester, where she handled criminal and family court appeals.
