Dai Nguyen

Dai joined the Family Defense Representation team in November 2023 as a Program Associate. He obtained his Master’s in Public Policy Analysis from Tampere University, Finland, in June 2023. While pursuing his graduate degree, he worked for the Council of State Governments as a Research Fellow, focusing mainly on disability policies.

He earned a B.S. in Community and Human Services from SUNY Empire State College. Before joining ILS, he worked as a social worker, directly assisting people with disabilities and homeless individuals in Western New York and New York City. In 2018, Dai received the Unsung Hero Award from the Homeless Alliance of Western New York for his commitment to the homeless and low-income community in the region.

Dai collaborates closely with other staff to support ILS’s Family Representation Unit in its expanding responsibilities. His role involves ensuring the successful completion of parent representation quality enhancement projects and initiatives.
