Patricia Cadrette

Patricia Cadrette, a veteran of the United States Navy, joined ILS in March 2019 as Assistant Grants Manager. Some of her responsibilities include: participating in the solicitation, evaluation and awarding of grant funds; assisting in the review of reimbursement claims and the voucher payment process; providing fiscal guidance to counties and indigent legal services providers regarding claims for reimbursement, structured payments, contracts and budget modifications or revisions; and developing and updating contract materials, reports, and files. Ms. Cadrette also works with the Counsel and Statewide Implementation Team focusing on contracts and budgets prior to final execution.

Before joining ILS, Ms. Cadrette served as an Assistant Director of Finance and Administration for Sponsored Programs at SUNY System Administration. In this capacity she was responsible for the management of all grant funds awarded to a research institute, including budgeting, proposal development, pre- and post-award administration, contracting, compliance, and reporting.

Ms. Cadrette started her public service career working for the former Governor Mario M. Cuomo. She has also previously worked for the NYS Senate and the NYS Division of Housing and Community Renewal.
